Simultaneous interpretation

Simultaneous interpretation means that the interpreter works in an interpretation booth (normally at the back of the room) and the members of the audience who need interpretation listen to the translation from headphones. Unfortunately, we do not own any interpretation equipment but we can recommend companies that rent it. The duration of this type of interpretation is calculated by the hour. In order to ensure a better quality, it would be helpful if you informed us about the topic and/or content of your presentation(s). When making a bid, the topic and possible travel and accommodation expenses are taken into account.

Simultaneous interpretation decreases the time that the presentations and the interpretation would require significantly; however, if there is a discussion or a Q&A time planned, then in order to translate the questions from the audience, additional microphones are needed for the people asking the questions; otherwise, the interpreter will not be able to hear them.
